This half day walk begins at the Prairie Loop and passes through most of the important habitats in the park.

Franktown has Castlewood Canyon State Park, Hidden Mesa, Gateway Mesa, the Cherry Creek Trail and several gravel pit lakes. We'll visit the areas which seem to have the most interesting birds in October.
