Are you interested in becoming a community naturalist? Join us at the Audubon Nature Center for an informational session about our year-long naturalist training.

Learn about the four species of hummingbirds that frequent the Front Range, including how to attract more hummingbirds to your yard! Class participants will spend some time looking for the hummingbirds around the Audubon Nature Center and gain valuable skills to assist with identification. Be sure to bring your own binoculars for optimal viewing!

Walk along the greenbelt exploring ponds, riparian forest and other habitats for resident and migratory birds. 

Carpool to Mt. Evans to explore all park habitats.

We will rendezvous at Empire at noon on Friday, then off to Walden via Berthoud Pass with stops at Windy Gap and Walden Reservoir.
