Virtual Workshop - Owl Calls & Certified Clacks

Owls make a variety of hoots, whistles, bill clacks, and screeches to help establish territory and communicate with one another.  Learning to identify owls by call can help with recognizing these nocturnal predators in your own neighborhood or local open space!  Devin Jaffe, Co-Executive Director of Nature's Educators, will share insights on a variety of Colorado species calls, including the threatened Mexican Spotted Owl.  Our time together will include a quiz to ID calls after introduction and review, as well as a fun opportunity for you to imitate these calls in the comfort of your home.  This advanced workshop is best suited for teenagers and adults.
