It’s time for our annual Fall Celebration, an exciting evening with ASGD members and friends! Join author and bird sound expert Nathan Pieplow who will guide us on a journey to decode bird calls, songs, and other sounds. The sounds of birds are a language, carrying messages from one bird to another. To understand the language, and decode the messages, Nathan has devised a system that lets you identify bird sounds without having to memorize them. The Peterson Field Guide to Bird Sounds lets you look up sounds as you would look up words in the dictionary. Nathan’s clear, practical instructions for visualizing sounds will make you a better listener.  Also, learn about our accomplishments and future plans.
