Join us to learn about the owls that frequent Chatfield State Park and then hike the trails in search of the live residents!  Great Horned Owls, Eastern Screech Owls, Burrowing Owls and Long-eared Owls have all been documented as regular residents around our Nature Center trails and the South Platte River.  Discover ways to distinguish calls, identify popular roosting locations, and learn about the amazing owl adaptations that make these animals the perfect "Night Ninjas".
