Learn about the amazing and at times bizarre behavior of owls in regards to the lunar cycle and the little known “retired” owl constellation of Noctua.
Meeting Place: Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield State Park, 11280 Waterton Rd., Littleton, CO 80125.
Leader: Astronomy professor Lynnette Hoerner will present in partnership with Audubon staff.
Registration required. Minimum age required to participate is 10 years old. Member Adults $8; member kids/teen (ages 10-18) $5; non-member Adults $10; non-member kids/teen (ages 10-18) $7.
