Newton Park

Come visit this beautiful Denver Mountain Park near Conifer with lovely stands of aspen and an impressive variety of wildflowers.  We should see a good sample of mountain birds, and expect to observe nesting behavior.  This trip will require off-trail hiking with some elevation change.  Note that the trip will be held on a Sunday and will require carpooling.  The trip will be longer than usual, so be sure to bring your lunch.

Meeting Place:  Walmart Parking lot, at southeast corner of C-470 and Bowles.   We will meet at the southeast side of the parking lot, east of the Garden Center, at 8 am.  Please bring your lunch and be prepared to carpool.
