This well-loved mountain park is a birding hot spot. We will see which birds are hanging around the lake and look for spring migrating and breeding birds. We will walk along the park trails and see what birds are on the water and in the trees and shrubs.
Meeting Place: Evergreen Lake parking lot near rest rooms. Take I-70 west from Denver, exit at Evergreen Parkway (Hwy 74), pass through Evergreen, turn right at Upper Bear Creek Rd just before the lake, then left at the entrance to the parking lot southwest of the lake.
