Description
This Birds Plus+ hike that includes identifying birds and the native plants they depend on, including the evolution of native plants and insects that birds rely on. Meet at the west side of Prairie Sky Park (parking lot for baseball field). Please bring water, sun screen, and insect repellant. Expect a moderate to sometimes steep climb for about two-thirds mile to access the Ridgegate Trail System. We expect to see year-round birds such as hawks, finches, jays, and flickers, as well as migratory birds such as flycatchers and swallows.
