Location
Description
This will be a loop hike of about 3.5 miles along the Plymouth Creek and Meadowlark Trails, enjoying a variety of birds of the lowest foothills slopes in forest, scrub and grassland settings. We will encounter some returning migrants and early season breeding activity, plus a chance for Golden Eagle and White-throated Swift. Maybe Lazuli Buntings will be in. How many Spotted Towhees can we count? Expect some moderately steep uphill sections, and some rocky areas along the trail. Bring snack and drink and good walking shoes. Restroom at the parking lot only, otherwise there is the "green door".
This trip is led by David Suddjian.
