Birding Cherry Creek State Park (Co-sponsored trip with DFO)

We will start at the Marina and then look for resident and migrating birds in the trees, grasslands, and on the water.  Likely additional stops include the Prairie and Lake Loop, perhaps the shooting range, Dixon Grove, the Tower Loop and Pelican Point, depending on what is being seen in different areas in the days before the trip. We will carpool to the various stops and walk 1-2 miles. Bring binoculars, water, snacks, and sunscreen. Scopes are useful.
