Description
We'll hilke a loop at scenic South Valley Park looking for nesting raptors, including maybe Great Horned Owl, Prairie Falcon, American Kestrel and Red-tailed Hawk. We may also see bluebirds, Golden Eagle and a variety of other birds of the hogback habitats. We'll meet at the south trailhead and hike about 4 miles total, mostly on gentle grades. Bring hiking shoes, and a snack and drink. Restrooms are located at the meeting spot and halfway through the hike.
