Location
Description
Let's explore a few places in the Deer Creek area, looking for a variety of birds and visiting a variety of habitats from scrub and grassland to forest. We'll carpool from the meeting spot to our birding places, with short walks at each totaling not more than two miles among them. Most walking will be along roads, with some gentle to moderate grades. A little snow is forecast a couple days before the outing, so there could be snowy or icy spots. Bring a snack and drink, and a warm layer. Restrooms available at two or three spots.
This trip is led by David Suddjian.
