Description
This trip will explore some back roads and trails in the greater Bailey region looking for a variety of mid-elevation mountain birds. We might see returning Williamson's Sapsucker, Clark's Nutcracker, Evening Grosbeak, and bluebirds, nuthatches, chickadees and other woodpeckers. Dusky Grouse and Northern Pygmy-Owl are possible. Walking will be along roads and trails will be up to two miles or less on easy grades. We will carpool from the meeting spot. Bring lunch, snacks and drinks. Restrooms limited, but we can plan for at least two and maybe three opportunities.
This trip is led by David Suddjian.
