Birding South Platte Park - South End (Co-sponsored trip with DFO)

Please join as we explore several lakes and the South Platte River at the south end of South Platte Park. In December, expect to see many waterfowl returning for the winter with some stopping on their migration south. The plan is to walk 2 to 3 miles on mostly hard-packed dirt and gravel. Snowy and icy conditions may be present. Bring binoculars, water, snack, sunscreen. Scopes and cameras are welcome. A vault toilet restroom is available at the beginning of the walk near the parking area. That will be the only restroom.
