Description

On December 27, watch your feeders and submit your observations to contribute to the count! Instructions on how to do so are simple:
- At any time on December 27, watch your feeder and record your observations. The most important things to record are:
- How long you observe the feeder
- Number of observers
- Which species you saw and how many of each
- Avoid re-counting individual birds: do this by simply recording the largest number of each species seen simultaneously during observations. For example, if you see 1 Blue Jay and then later see 2 Blue Jays, you only record 2 Blue Jays (not 3).
- Submit the above information. You will have the option to do so via eBird or via email. Specific instructions will be sent a few days before the count.
