Winter Weekend Nature Detectives — for New Prospective Nature Preschool Families
Join us for a special Nature Detectives session for caregivers and young children (ages 2–6; siblings welcome), designed especially for new families considering enrollment in Denver Audubon’s Nature Preschool, opening Fall 2026.
To participate, your child should be between 3 and 6 years old by September 1, 2026 — the eligible age range for preschool enrollment.
During this 75-minute session, families will have the opportunity to:
-
See the space: Explore our outdoor classroom areas and the Kingery Nature Center.
-
Meet the Director/Lead Teacher: Learn about the program directly from the preschool director.
-
Experience a taste of preschool life: Participate in a short circle time and simple, hands-on nature invitations.
-
Ask questions: Learn about safety, ratios, daily rhythm, licensing timeline, tuition, and enrollment steps.
Length: 75 minutes (mostly outdoors)
What to wear/bring: Warm layers, boots, a water bottle, peanut-free snacks (if desired)
Accessibility: Dirt paths; snow or ice may be possible in winter. Please share any accommodation needs when you RSVP.
Cost: Free — RSVP required (limited spots available)
