Summary

Join Audubon Master Birders for an early spring walk through scrub oak, cliff, prairie, and riparian forest habitats along the 2.4 mile Fountain Valley Trail. We will look and listen for spring arrivals as well as year-round residents among stunning red rocks. We could see swifts, swallows, flycatchers, bluebirds, jays, wrens, as well as, sparrows, goldfinches, and raptors. This trip is for all levels of birders, and beginners are especially welcome.

Join Audubon Master Birders for an early spring walk through scrub oak, cliff, prairie, and riparian forest habitats along the 2.4 mile Fountain Valley Trail.  We will look and listen for spring arrivals as well as year-round residents among stunning red rocks.   We could see swifts, swallows, flycatchers, bluebirds, jays, wrens, as well as, sparrows, goldfinches, and raptors. This trip is for all levels of birders, and beginners are especially welcome. 

Meeting Place:  Roxborough State Park Visitor’s Center, 4751 Roxborough Dr., Littleton, CO 80125   Colorado State Park Pass or day pass (fee) required.
