Hentzel Park (Denver Parks Monthly Walk)

Saturday, April 8, 9-11am

Enjoy this fun southeast Denver neighborhood park in the early spring.  We will see ducks or shorebirds along Cherry Creek, as well as look and listen for early migrating passerines and resident raptors.  Hiking will be along fairly level dirt trails.  

Meeting Place:  Parking lot at Babi Yar Park, 10451 E Yale Ave, Denver, CO 80231, on north side of Yale, about half a block west of Havana.  After birding in that area, we will carpool to S. Elmira St. and enter Hentzel Park from the neighborhood to the north.
