Description
NEW Family Birding Adventures - Beginning Waterfowl
Saturday, March 25, 8am-noon
This birding trip welcomes beginning birders or families with children who want to walk well-established trails along the South Platte River for good looks at the waterfowl that frequent the Denver Area in winter. Generally focused on feeding and preening, the waterfowl often give close-up views for a good chance to learn the basics of waterfowl ID and get a look at their striking breeding plumages. Bring binoculars, scopes (if you have them), and field guides.
Meeting Place: Parking lot to the Colorado Front Range Trail and Niver Creek Trail, located on Steele Street at the Intersection with E 78th Ave., address approximately 7824 Steele Street, Denver, CO.
Leader: Christy Payne
