Description
Denver Audubon is proud to partner with Outdoor Afro to offer a bird outing at City Park on Saturday, July 26 from 8AM-9:30AM!
We’ll aim to look for local Colorado birds as well as migratory species. We’ll learn how to identify various birds by sight and sound, why birds are important to our ecosystem, and how birding can be a mindfulness practice.
We’ll meet at the City Park Pavillon and walk leisurely around the park identifying and observing various bird species. Limited binoculars will be provided, if you have your own pair of binoculars, please bring them. Also, please bring water, sun protection, comfortable shoes, and snacks!
Meeting point: City Park Pavilion
Parking is available here and here.
Trip leader: Jane Lee
