Monthly birding walk along the South Platte River at Audubon Nature Center led by Audubon Master Birders
Description
Walk for about 3 miles along the South Platte River exploring ponds and riparian and grassland habitats for late fall migrants, residents, and winter arrivals. Trails are moderately easy, but do contain rocks, tree roots and poison ivy. Some of the trails are narrow and moderately steep for a few feet. Elevation: 5430 Ft. Bring a scope if you have one; some loaner equipment may be available.
