Family Birding Adventure at Cherry Creek
Saturday February 18, 9-10:30am
We are happy to be introducing our “Family Birding Adventures” in 2017! This program will feature a series of special birding field trips throughout the year for families with children. All ages are welcome! Join Audubon staff or volunteers on a bird walk meant to engage your youngest outdoor enthusiast – from toddlers to teenagers, youth of all ages can enjoy learning about the amazing birds of Colorado. Staff and volunteers will help with spotting skills as well as bird identification through calls, colors, and flight. Bring your own binoculars and let us inspire your family to pick-up a new hobby! After the walk, head inside and visit the Audubon table at Tagawa’s Annual Bird & Nature Festival. Visit www.tagawagardens.com for more details on their event.
Meeting Place: Tagawa Gardens parking lot, 7711 S. Parker Road, Centennial, 80016. Look for us at the Cherry Creek trail entrance at Broncos Parkway across the parking lot.
Leaders: Audubon Staff and volunteers.
Registration Required. No fee. Donations to ASGD Welcome. Trip limit 20.
