From Farm to Nature: An Historical Journey of the Audubon Center at Chatfield

From farm to nature, the Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield has a diverse and rich history including agriculture, the Colorado railroad, ventures in the space program, and finally a wildlife destination. The Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield is named for John James Audubon, the dominate wildlife artist of the United States in the early 19^th century. Join the Roxborough Historical Society and the Audubon Society of Greater Denver for a unique and interactive journey of this little known Nature Center at the south end of Chatfield State Park.
