Sloan's Lake, Northwest Denver

This popular Denver park will be the site of our early morning August bird walk with expert birder, Jackie King. Both water birds and passerines should be found on this handicapped accessible trail. We will see which breeding birds are still in town and may see some juvenile plumaged birds.

Meeting Place: On the trail by the lake in front of the bathrooms at the boathouse, on the north side of the park. The nearest large parking lot is by the tennis courts at 26th and Tennyson. The boathouse is a short walk southwest of the parking lot.
