Westerly Creek, Northeast Denver

Join expert birder, Jackie King, at this Stapleton area park for an early morning handicapped-friendly walk along this North Denver creek. We should see ducks, wading birds, hawks and songbirds in this lively riparian area. Expect to walk a couple of miles along an easy path.

Meeting Place: NE side of Parking lot at Beeler St. and Martin Luther King Dr. On the trail by the lake in front of the bathrooms at the boathouse, on the north side of the park. The nearest large parking lot is by the tennis courts at 26th and Tennyson. The boathouse is a short walk southwest of the parking lot.
