Mile High Magpies is a new team for Bird-A-Thon 2025. On Global Big Day, May 10, we will be completing a spring bird survey at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood and birding various habitats from the west Denver metro and into the mountains. We hope to raise a modest sum for Denver Audubon through our efforts, which will support their conservation and education efforts in the Denver area. You can help by pledging to donate a lump sum or a per-bird donation for the number of species our team finds (we expect to see 60-90 species throughout the day).
