FlockNRoll is comprised of three biologists with a wide range of research topics. Adriana Jacobi is PhD student studying the survival and fecundity of Colorado’s very own and well-loved state grass, Bouteloua gracilis. Carly Crow completed her master’s degree on the parasitic flies plaguing the famous Darwin’s Finches of the Galapagos Islands and just finished a field season tracking the movement and success of Northern Bobwhite Quail with Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Megan Miller is working on a master’s degree studying the effect of air pollution and drought on the oxidative stress of migrating birds.
