Description
This trip will explore ponderosa pine and mixed conifer forest areas along back roads and forest service roads in the greater Bailey area. We might find Red Crossbill, Evening Grosbeak, Townsend's Solitaire, nuthatches, chickadees, woodpeckers. Nor. Pygmy-Owl is possible. Dress in layers and bring good walking shoes, snacks and drink. We will walk about 2 miles in short segments. Restrooms limited, but there is the "green door." We will carpool from the meeting place.
