Summary
Description
This is a 2.4 mile trip around Fountain Valley Trail amid the red rocks of Roxborough SP. It is generally flat with about 300 feet in gradient, on a mostly gravel trail. We will be looking for early spring migrants, such as warblers, White-throated Swifts, etc. Roxborough is known for its raptors, so they are always a possibility. Our usual residents include Blue Jays, Woodhouse's Scrub-Jays, chickadees, and of course the vocal Spotted Towhees, but anything is possible in Spring!
Meeting Location: Meet at the Visitor Center, Roxborough State Park, 4751 E. Roxborough Dr., Littleton, CO 80125.
