Birding & Beans: Kingery Nature Center (DFO Co-Sponsored Trip)

Join us on a free birding field trip through Denver Audubon Kingery Nature Center's riparian habitat as we search for migratory and resident birds. After birding, all participants are invited to an optional social hour at a nearby coffee shop. We will bird for about 3 hours and have coffee for about 1 hour.

Accessibility Info:
-Distance: ~2.5 miles
-Trail: gravel, packed dirt; can be muddy weather depending
-Slope: mostly flat
-Bathrooms: two early in the trip near nature center
-Resting spots: none
-Turnarounds: two or three opportunities to go back early for those who can't walk the whole way
-Wheelchair rating: poor; trails are rocky and narrow in spots

• You are responsible for bringing your own binoculars, water, snacks, and sunscreen for an optimum experience
• Cameras are permitted
• This trip is not accessible for those with mobility issues.
