Description

The Denver Audubon Community Naturalist Training is a one-of-a-kind adult training program highlighting the plants, animals, and ecosystems of the Colorado Front Range. Classes for the 2020-2021 summer season will be held at the Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield and a variety of offsite field trip locations.  Topics of study include geology, botany, ecology, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, fish, and conservation in Colorado.

Classes will take place Monday August 23 - Friday 27 and Monday August 30 - Thursday September 2 from 9 am to 2:00 pm each day, with the exception of our ecology field trips on Tuesday August 31 and Wednesday September 2 which will be 7 am start time and ending at 3 pm.  100% attendance is required in order to graduate from the program - makeup classes are NOT possible.
